Both programs are for the novice or experienced track athlete. Rec League starts in third week of April and ends the second week of June.
Racing Team starts the second week of April and ends the first week of August. All practices are held at the Cranston West Track.

CLCF Panthers racing team practices 4 days a week-Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (5:45-7:15 PM) and Saturday mornings( 8:30-10 am). The Panthers compete in various meets around New England and beyond. The Panthers compete in the Junior Olympics, USATF sanctioned meet and more . All outdoor track events (except pole vault) that are offered in competition are coached to age appropriate athletes. Ages 5-17 can train with the Panthers team. The cost is $90 per athlete per season. The season runs from April 5 to July 31.
The Rec League program practices two days a week for one hour each day-Monday and Wednesday from 6-7 pm. This is an introductory program for those who are new to track or just like to stay active. The program introduces athletes to all the running, jumping and throwing in track. There are 5 developmental meets in the spring on Saturday mornings. Ages 5-14. Cost is $60 per athlete for the season. The season runs from April 19-June 19.
OSR is hosting two meets with three 14 and under races-1 mile, 400, and 100 meters. The cost is $12.50 per event. A negative COVID-19 test 48 hours prior to the meet needs to be provided.

They are open to all youths age 5-14 and are free. CLCF track membership not required to participate.
