Both programs are for the novice or experienced track athlete. Rec League starts in third week of April and ends the second week of June.
Racing Team starts the second week of April and ends the first week of August. All practices are held at the Cranston West Track.
CLCF Panthers racing team practices 4 days a week-Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. The Panthers compete in various meets around New England and beyond. The Panthers compete in such meets as Junior Olympics, Needham Youth Classic Meet and others. All outdoor track events (except pole vault) that are offered in competition are coached to age appropriate athletes. Ages 5-17 can train with the Panthers team.
The Rec League program practices two days a week for one hour each day-Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 pm. This is an introductory program for those who are new to track or just like to stay active. There are 5 developmental meets in the spring on Saturday mornings. Ages 5-14.
