About Cross Country

What age can run?

Children from second grade to eighth grade  can participate in the XC program!

No Experience Needed!

Anyone who likes to run, to give full effort, and to have fun will want to join the team. The coaching staff conducts practices and races designed to improve each participant's fitness, and help develop their running ability.

Competition

CLCF cross country competes in invitationals such as the Ocean State and Campopiano as well as USATF Junior Olympics.

The team holds 5 of its own developmental meets at Briggs Field (Chafee Complex) and at Cranston West track.
